Job summary

La Fosse is building a Data Processing Platform to forecast energy systems over 50+ years. As a senior software engineer, you will own end-to-end delivery, design pipelines and tooling on a Databricks-based platform, and shape architecture alongside the Engineering Lead.

You will work with energy modellers and non-technical stakeholders, bringing deep backend expertise, cloud proficiency (AWS or Azure) and strong CI/CD to ensure robust, observable systems from day one.

Qualifications

• Backend-focused engineer with strong Python (or Java/C#/TypeScript) skills.
• Hands-on cloud experience (AWS or Azure).
• Solid CI/CD experience and ownership of builds from design to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Be a core member of the platform team and share architecture with the Engineering Lead.
• Own end-to-end delivery from system design to deployment.
• Build integrations, pipelines and tooling on a Databricks-based platform.
• Design and improve CI/CD to bake quality and observability in from the start.
• Collaborate with energy modellers and non-technical stakeholders to translate needs into technical plans.
