Job summary

9fin is seeking a highly-motivated platform engineer to empower software engineers through world-class developer experience. You will design infrastructure as code, implement multi-account AWS core infra, and optimise CI/CD templates to help teams release quickly and securely.

You will contribute to observability and SRE practices, build dev portal plugins, and develop open source tools to improve productivity and reliability across fintech workloads.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS services (ECS, EC2, Lambda, VPC, IAM, Route53, CloudFront, S3, RDS).
• Strong CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance experience.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar.
• Proficiency in Linux, Git, Docker; scripting in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Familiarity with observability tools (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, SigNoz).
• Knowledge of Agile development practices and DevOps culture.

Responsibilities

• Design infrastructure as code templates/modules for engineer use.
• Implement multi-account AWS core infrastructure with security best practices.
• Author CI/CD templates and optimisations for frequent releases.
• Build a developer portal and DevOps plugins for the team.
• Contribute to observability, including SLI/SLO reporting.
• Develop inner/open source projects to improve developer experience.
