Job summary

9fin is seeking a Senior Developer Experience Engineer to streamline software development across the lifecycle. You will build internal tools, services and templates, improving CI/CD, testing, deployment and observability.

You’ll work with engineers to reduce friction, deliver self‑service capabilities, and drive adoption of platforms that accelerate product delivery. You will join a Platform team, collaborate with a peer Developer Experience Engineer, and shape the future of internal tooling in

Qualifications

• Proven software engineering experience across the lifecycle from design to production.
• Strong fundamentals in software engineering beyond a single language.
• Experience improving build, test, deploy, and operate workflows.
• Ability to design maintainable systems and make pragmatic trade-offs.
• Hands-on with CI/CD, containers and cloud infrastructure.
• Enjoy building tools/platforms for internal engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain internal tools, services, APIs and CLIs.
• Improve workflows across coding, testing, deployment and production operations.
• Create service templates and paved roads for secure, observable software.
• Improve CI/CD speed, reliability, and usability of systems.
• Develop reusable platform capabilities accessible via self-service.
• Help engineers use observability with good defaults for logs and metrics.
• Work directly with engineers to understand friction and adoption.
• Use data to measure impact of changes on developer experience.
• Contribute production-quality code, tests, docs and ops support.
