Job summary

9fin is building an internal platform to accelerate software engineering across teams. The Senior Developer Experience Engineer will own tooling, templates and secure, observable pipelines. You will partner with engineers to reduce friction and deliver high-quality production systems.

You will contribute production-grade code, tests and documentation, while shaping paved roads and self-service capabilities that improve speed, reliability and adoption across the org.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineer with experience designing, building, testing and operating production software.
• Experience with CI/CD, containers and cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to design maintainable systems and balance speed, quality and complexity.
• enjoys building tools and platforms for other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain internal tools, services, APIs and CLIs.
• Improve workflows across coding, testing, deployment and production operations.
• Create service templates and paved roads for secure, observable software.
• Improve speed and reliability of CI/CD systems.
• Develop reusable platform capabilities for self-service use.
• Help engineers use observability with good defaults for logs/metrics/traces.
