Job summary

Sinara, a London-based software house, seeks a Platform Engineer to own the Kubernetes infrastructure, improve cloud platforms, and drive automation across CI/CD and IaC. The role collaborates with Developers and Operations to deliver secure, reliable software delivery.

You will join a tight-knit Tech Ops team delivering cloud-native applications and modern container platforms, with a focus on resilience and security.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering and supporting AWS cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Strong understanding of container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience managing cloud-native applications and microservices architectures.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD platforms and deployment automation.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other database technologies.

Responsibilities

• Architecting and maintaining internal developer platforms.
• Manage and support production and non-production environments hosted in AWS.
• Operate, maintain, and optimise Kubernetes clusters and containerised applications.
• Monitor platform health, performance, availability, and capacity.
• Investigate and resolve platform, infrastructure, and application-related incidents.
• Work closely with Development, DevOps, and Application Support teams to improve system reliability and deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
