Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced software engineer to support hosting and platform development across AWS, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GitHub. You will develop automation using Python, Java/Groovy, Go, and Terraform, and lead code reviews emphasizing security, performance and maintainability.

You will contribute to technical standards, improve observability, respond to alerts, mentor teammates, and deliver new features across multi-tenant environments.

Qualifications

• Experience solving complex engineering problems across distributed systems.
• Exposure to AWS and Kubernetes environments.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Strong coding and automation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hosting and build platforms across AWS, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GitHub.
• Develop automation and tooling using Python, Java/Groovy, Go, and Terraform.
• Lead code reviews and champion engineering best practices for security, performance, maintainability, and testing.
• Contribute to technical standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain reliable production environments and improve observability.
• Respond to proactive and reactive alerts and collaborate across teams.
• Mentor and support other engineers and share knowledge.
