Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced software engineer to support hosting and platform development across AWS, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GitHub. You will develop automation using Python, Java/Groovy, Go, and Terraform, and lead code reviews emphasizing security, performance and maintainability.

You will contribute to technical standards, improve observability, respond to alerts, mentor teammates, and deliver new features across multi-tenant environments.

Job description

• Support, maintain, and enhance application hosting and build platforms across AWS, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GitHub
• Develop automation and tooling using Python, Java/Groovy, Go, and Terraform
• Lead code reviews and champion engineering best practices for security, performance, maintainability, and testing

Requirements

• Strong experience solving complex engineering problems across distributed systems
• Exposure to AWS and Kubernetes environments
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle
• Strong coding and automation capabilities
• Understanding of system architecture and end-to-end thinking across platforms and services
• Experience writing well-tested, maintainable, secure, and performant code
• Experience with infrastructure testing, such as Terraform Testing and BDD-style integration tests
• Ability to work effectively in multi-tenant environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
