Job summary

Fresha is expanding its Platform Engineering team to scale its infrastructure globally. As a Senior Platform Engineer you will own end-to-end design, deployment, and operation of the platform, tackling reliability, observability, and scaling challenges across regions.

You will empower engineers with tools, patterns, and best practices to deliver faster and safer software. The role supports a dog-friendly office in London with four days in the office and a Wednesday remote option.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building, operating, and troubleshooting production-grade systems focusing on reliability, observability, and scalability.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML or LLM-based tools in platform contexts (automation, observability, developer experience, or incident response).
• Strong programming and automation skills in Python, Go, or Bash; using Terraform for repeatable, low-risk systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve infrastructure architecture to support multi-region deployments.
• Design systems for resilience, scalability, and operational simplicity.
• Extend monitoring and observability across services to enable fast, safe deployments and reduced toil.
• Lead platform initiatives autonomously and drive cross-team projects with clear outcomes.
