The London Borough of Bexley is seeking a Deputy Area Team Manager to support day-to-day supervision of a planning team and oversee a portfolio of large-scale, complex planning applications. You will thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment focused on growth and town centre regeneration.

Ideal candidates will have strong planning qualifications, RTPI eligibility, and substantial Development Management experience, with a track record of mentoring officers and delivering high-quality decisions.

Qualifications

• Must have planning qualifications and eligibility for RTPI membership.
• Extensive experience in Development Management and handling large-scale, complex schemes.
• Experience leading and mentoring planning officers.
