Job summary

SSEN Transmission is recruiting for a Planning Manager based in Scotland with a requirement to split time between office locations including Glasgow, Perth, Inverness or Aberdeen. The role leads planning teams and oversees schedules across Onshore, Offshore and Development projects to support a cleaner energy future.

The ideal candidate will have extensive infrastructure planning experience, proficiency with Primavera P6, and knowledge of NEC3/FIDIC contracts.

Qualifications

• Degree in construction management, engineering, project management or a related technical field.
• NVQ Level 5 qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
• Membership of a professional body would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning teams to deliver robust schedules across a portfolio of transmission projects.
• Oversee development, baselining, management and analysis of schedules across full project lifecycles.
• Provide strategic and technical planning guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
