Job summary

Mace in Leeds is seeking an experienced Programme Planner to drive construction project controls across major energy infrastructure programmes. You will own integrated schedules, manage day-to-day planning activities, and collaborate with client teams and contractors to improve productivity and delivery.

We expect leadership, sustainability awareness, and a proven track record in linear infrastructure delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified with seven years’ relevant experience in linear infrastructure delivery.
• Professional membership or equivalent development.
• Strong planning and infrastructure project expertise.
• Proven commercial acumen and senior stakeholder management.
• Experienced leader with sustainability and carbon awareness.

Responsibilities

• Owning all aspects of the planning process including the integrated programme, critical paths, client programmes and the analysis and acceptance of contractor programmes.
• Ensuring cost loading of programmes to the appropriate level of cost and progress capture.
• Analysing contractor programmes and provide feedback to project management including run rates, schedule risks and mitigation measures/opportunities.
• Ability to lead all aspects of contractual management for programme related events.
• Directing key assignments, strengthen planning performance, and ensure effective project scheduling and monitoring.
• Supporting strategic development, due diligence, and sustainable business growth.
• Fostering collaboration, share best practice, and build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
