Job summary

Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. This role sits on energy infrastructure projects, driving planning, cost loading and earned value to support safe delivery and high performance.

You will engage with senior stakeholders, manage integrated programmes, and lead the planning and reporting cycle across contractor and grid programmes, ensuring compliance and value across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in the successful planning of projects and programmes in the utilities sector.
• Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
• Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.

Responsibilities

• Engaging with key stakeholders to establish timelines for production of quality‑assured and cost loaded programmes for sanction.
• Owning all aspects of the planning process from the integrated programme to contractor programmes.
• Providing monthly contractor programme analysis and feedback to Project Manager.
• Representing National Grid whilst engaging with contractor planning resource to complete month end reporting routines.
