Qualifications

• Membership of professional bodies (APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA or equivalent).
• Extensive experience planning projects and programmes in the Energy/Utilities sector.
• Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Leadership and management of large, diverse teams.
• Experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape project outlook.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring consistent application of coding structures, planning standards, and risk-adjusted logic across all schedule inputs.
• Governing schedule updates, baseline control, and reporting cycles, driving high levels of contributor compliance and data quality.
• Managing scenario modelling and impact assessments to support decision‑making for major changes and emerging risks.
• Providing clear visibility from short‑term lookaheads through to key programme milestones, enabling proactive management of delivery risks and opportunities.
• Developing reporting outputs that support effective planning across short, medium, and long‑term horizons.
• A robust, integrated planning baseline that supports confident decision‑making.
• Improved alignment across stakeholders and contributors.
• Enhanced ability to identify, mitigate, and manage delivery risks.
