Job summary

MWH Treatment Limited is seeking a Lead Planning Manager to oversee planning across the Southern Division, including governance, standards, and assurance. You will drive programme management for multiple projects, support tender sign‑off, and lead a skilled planning team across frameworks.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive planning experience in civil engineering settings, and the ability to implement tools and processes across a regional division with travel across Southern

Qualifications

• Extensive planning experience with construction programmes.
• Strong understanding of Civil Engineering and M&E activities.
• NEC contract awareness, especially in programme management and compensation events.
• Minimum educated HND level.
• Excellent knowledge of planning systems (Primavera – Essential).
• Experience in successful line management and mentoring.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning function and services across Frameworks and provide outputs for Division programmes.
• Provide regional planning resource leadership and capacity planning.
• Define and monitor divisional planning strategy and roll-out of tools.
• Support governance, tender programme sign‑off, and deep-dive reviews.
• Develop training content for delivery teams on integrated programmes.
• Provide programme management support to embedded planning teams.
