Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to lead the planning team on a complex, globally scoped project for Saudi Aramco, coordinating with the PM team and Wood as EPC contractor.

The role requires over twenty years in process industry environments with large capital project management, strong Primavera P6 and risk analysis skills, and the ability to present to senior management and Board members.

Qualifications

• Twenty years’ experience in a process industry production/engineering environment with large capital project management experience.
• Leadership experience (10 years) leading planning teams or functions.
• Proven track record with Pre-FEED and FEED projects; knowledge of EPC phases in refinery/oil & gas/petrochemical facilities.
• Expert technical understanding to manage scheduling across all project phases (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Turnover, Commissioning).

Responsibilities

• Provide a complete planning service to the PM team on a complex, globally-reaching project.
• Lead a team of planning engineers as a key member of the Saudi Aramco Management Team.
• Manage the Engineering Contractor (Wood) to deliver within SAEP requirements and timescales.
• Regular and transparent communication of project progress and integration of multiple project schedules.
• Present schedule topics to all levels including Board members and communicate with Saudi Aramco stakeholders.
