Job summary

TWG Consulting in Leeds invites a Planning Manager to lead planning across EPC, decarbonisation and infrastructure projects. You will own programmes, drive planning strategy and manage delivery across multiple workstreams from tender to completion.

The role requires extensive planning expertise in construction and energy sectors, with proficiency in Asta Powerproject and Primavera P6, NEC3/NEC4 contracts and strong stakeholder leadership.

Qualifications

• Extensive planning experience in construction, infrastructure, utilities, energy or building services.
• Proven ability to lead Planning Manager/Lead/ Senior Planner roles across multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of planning tools and governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of logic-linked, resource and cost-loaded programmes from tender through to completion.
• Oversee planning activities and ensure programmes accurately reflect project scope, sequencing and delivery requirements.
• Monitor project progress, critical path activities and overall programme performance.
• Produce and oversee programme updates, forecasts and recovery plans.
• Support NEC3/NEC4 contract administration and compensation events.
• Lead programme review meetings and provide planning leadership across multiple projects.
• Identify programme risks, delays and opportunities, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Commercial, Design and Delivery teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Drive planning best practice and ensure consistency across project programmes.
• Provide guidance and support to planners and wider project teams.
