Job summary

Penspen Ltd is seeking two Project Engineers for a primarily UK-based role in Woking, Surrey, with possible assignment to Al Khafji, KSA. Duration is 6-9 months on a fixed-term contract. Right to live and work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities include leading project engineering tasks within Core Technical or PMT teams, supervising engineer-grade personnel, and coordinating with FEED/Technical Leader. Prior PMC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 14 years as a Project Engineer.
• 10 years in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• PMC experience preferable.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standards advantageous.
• Computer literate with MS Word & Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project engineering tasks within Core Engineering or PMT teams.
• Manage engineer-grade personnel and delegate activities under supervision by Lead/FEED-Technical Leader.

Penspen www.penspen,com are looking for two Project Engineers.

The primary location is Woking, Surrey, you may be required to work in Al Khafji, KSA.

The Project Engineers may operate within the Core Engineering Team or PMT project team environment. They may have engineer grade personnel under their responsibility and will be tasked with their control and management and the delegation of activities to such support personnel. They may work under the supervision of a Lead Engineer in which case their responsibilities will be as delegated. The Project Engineers may be in charge of all Project Engineering tasks between them.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills):

• At least 14 years of experience as a Project Engineer
• 10 years of them within the field of Engineering for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures/practices is beneficial
• Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient.
• Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering discipline orDiploma in Engineering in the appropriate field.

Key Relationships:

PMS Interface
The Project Enginees will, if serving in the Core Technical team, report to the FEED/Technical Leader via the Lead Engineer, or direct if appropriate. For service within the PMT Teams, the Project Engineers will report to the Project Head/Senior Project Engineer via the Lead Engineers or direct if appropriate. The Project Engineers will manage the output of engineer grade personnel working under their authority and will liaise with other discipline personnelin the Technical Core Team or PMT teams as appropriate to his area of service.

Client Interface
Client reporting interface shall be via the FEED/Technical Leader for Technical Core Team service, or via the Project Head/Senior Project Engineer for PMT service
