Full Job Description

Location :West London

Salary: £80-100,000 + car allowance +package

An exciting opportunity has arisen for aSenior Planning Engineer to join a leading main contractor on a newproject based in West London.

The Senior PlanningEngineer will be site-based, working closely with an expert deliveryteam, and leading all aspects of planning and scheduling frompre-construction through to final handover.

Theywill take ownership of the construction programme, working closelywith the Project Director and ensuring the programme is communicatedeffectively to the site team, playing a key role in the safe andtimely delivery of this £100m scheme.

Responsibilities

• Developdetailed project schedules using Primavera P6, aligning with projectobjectives and milestones.
• Oversee the construction programmeon-site, ensuring that all activities are in sync with the plannedschedule.
• Collaborate closely with site teams, projectmanagers, and stakeholders to monitor progress and resolve anyscheduling conflicts or delays.
• Provide real-time updates andadjust plans as necessary to accommodate project changes.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, identifypotential issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensurethat the construction programme adheres to industry standards andcompany policies.

Candidate

• Proven experience in a maincontracting environment on large-scale building projects
• Strong working knowledge of the NEC contract
• Proficiency with Primavera P6
• Strong communication,leadership, and analytical skills
• In-depth knowledge ofconstruction processes, project management, and planning principles.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable ofcoordinating with various teams and stakeholders.
• Hold aconstruction related qualification – Degree / HND / HNC
