Job Description

Title: Senior Planning Engineer

Location: West London

Salary: £80-100,000 + car allowance + package

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Planning Engineer to join a leading main contractor on a new project based in West London.

The Senior Planning Engineer will be site-based, working closely with an expert delivery team, and leading all aspects of planning and scheduling from pre-construction through to final handover.

They will take ownership of the construction programme, working closely with the Project Director and ensuring the programme is communicated effectively to the site team, playing a key role in the safe and timely delivery of this £100m scheme.

Responsibilities

1. Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, aligning with project objectives and milestones.
2. Oversee the construction programme on-site, ensuring that all activities are in sync with the planned schedule.
3. Collaborate closely with site teams, project managers, and stakeholders to monitor progress and resolve any scheduling conflicts or delays.
4. Provide real-time updates and adjust plans as necessary to accommodate project changes.
5. Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
6. Ensure that the construction programme adheres to industry standards and company policies.

Candidate

1. Proven experience in a main contracting environment on large-scale building projects.
2. Strong working knowledge of the NEC contract.
3. Proficiency with Primavera P6.
4. Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
5. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, project management, and planning principles.
6. Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of coordinating with various teams and stakeholders.
7. Hold a construction-related qualification – Degree / HND / HNC.

Offer

1. £80-£100,000 per annum.
