An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Planning Engineer to join a leading civil engineering main contractor that has recently been awarded a place on a multi-million-pound framework offering long-term secured work.

The Senior Planning Engineer will join an established team that is responsible for delivering a large portfolio of railway infrastructure schemes, multi-projects across the Southeast.

The Senior Planning Engineer will be involved in projects throughout their full life cycle, from tender stage through to completion. They will manage multiple projects, splitting their week between live sites, office a couple of days per week and working remotely.

The successful candidate must have a background in civil engineering and have experience working within a UK main contracting environment. In addition, they must have good site experience, be proficient in the use of Primavera P6 and have a good working knowledge of NEC contract.

OFFER

• Starting salary of £70-85,000 per annum

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in a similar Senior Planning role, working on Rail and Civil Engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6.
• Excellent communication skills, able to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• A proactive approach, able to identify and resolve problems quickly.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Relevant qualifications in planning, engineering or a related discipline.
