My Local Authority Client in the South East Coastal Region is looking to source an experienced Planning Enforcement Officer to join their Planning department on an interim basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Planning Enforcement Officer to support a busy Local Planning Authority and assist with the investigation and management of planning enforcement matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating alleged breaches of planning control, undertaking site visits, gathering evidence, liaising with applicants, agents and members of the public, and supporting the progression of enforcement cases through to resolution. You will need to be confident working independently, managing your own workload, and providing professional planning enforcement advice within a Local Authority environment.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake regular site visits across the authority area, with weekly site attendance required as part of the role.
The position offers a flexible working arrangement, with a mixture of remote working, office attendance and site-based activity.
The role is offered on a full-time basis, working 37 hours per week, with an immediate start available.
