Job summary

Chadwick Nott seeks an Associate/Senior Associate (Planning) in Bristol. 4+ PQE required, with experience in planning, development and infrastructure projects. The role spans NSIPs, DNS projects, renewable energy and compulsory purchase work, offering early client exposure and leadership on matter delivery.

You will work alongside leading planning specialists, with flexible, modern ways of working and clear progression paths within a respected national firm.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 4+ years' PQE in planning law.
• Experience at a national, regional or reputed city firm.
• Strong drafting, analytical and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously.
• Interest in planning, development and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Work on NSIPs, DNS projects, and renewable energy developments.
• Provide planning advice through lifecycle from strategy to delivery.
• Draft planning applications, CIL, s106 and related agreements.
• Engage with clients and support business development.
• Support ESG initiatives and responsible business aims.
