Qualifications

• A qualified Solicitor with experience in planning law, strong technical and drafting skills, commercial awareness, and the confidence to manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Experience within the infrastructure, energy, transport, utilities or regeneration sectors would be advantageous.
• Build strong client relationships, contribute to business development and work collaboratively across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Advise developers, infrastructure providers, landowners and investors on planning matters including Development Consent Orders, applications and appeals.
• Negotiate and draft planning and infrastructure agreements (Section 106 and highways) with commercially focused advice.
• Deliver planning support on property, corporate, energy and infrastructure transactions, due diligence and regulatory risk identification.
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development while collaborating with colleagues across disciplines.
