Job summary

Mane Energy in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join our established structural steelwork team in South Yorkshire. You will develop detailed tender, pre-construction and live project programmes using Asta Powerproject and Primavera P6, coordinating with Estimating, Commercial, Production and Construction teams.

The role requires strong CP/sequence knowledge, the ability to interpret drawings and tender docs, and excellent stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Significant planning/programming experience within construction or steelwork.
• Strong experience using Asta Powerproject and Primavera P6.
• Understanding of critical path, sequencing, dependencies and programme logic.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed tender, pre-construction and live project programmes.
• Use Asta Powerproject and/or Primavera P6 to build and maintain programmes.
• Work with Estimating teams to develop tender programmes.
• Understand production capacity, fabrication sequencing and lead times.
• Incorporate construction methodology and site erection sequencing.
• Manage programme logic, critical paths, milestones and dependencies.
• Review client and main contractor programmes.
• Identify programme risks, constraints and opportunities.
• Update programmes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Produce clear progress and programme reports.
• Support project teams with scenario planning and programme optimisation.
• Challenge assumptions and work with operational teams to find practical solutions.
