Job summary

Galliford Try in London seeks a Senior Planner to lead the programme planning efforts from award to completion. The role reports to the Planning Manager and collaborates with project delivery teams to keep cost and resource profiles current while maintaining progress through site visits and office-based work.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong time management, proactive approach and effective facilitating skills, with expertise in Primavera P6, MS Project and MS Office.

• Experience coordinating with clients and subcontractors.
• Proactive approach and effective facilitation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and control the programme schedule from contract award to completion.
• Conduct regular programme and progress meetings to keep the schedule up to date.
• Apply Earned Value Analysis (SPI) to track progress against timelines.
• Ensure accurate planning, progress reporting, milestones and critical path analysis.
• Drive Collaborative Planning charts to monitor changes.
• Input change events and produce updated programmes showing milestone shifts.
• Conduct workshops to mitigate programme slippage.
