Job summary

EDF Energy Limited is recruiting a Senior Planner for the Sizewell C project (Civil Works Alliance). You will develop and maintain detailed construction programmes for major civil works, enabling and earthworks activities.

Working with engineers, delivery teams and the supply chain, you will refine sequence, methodology, resources and production rates, interpret drawings, and report progress. You’ll present programme logic clearly to teams and stakeholders to drive delivery.

Qualifications

• Ability to build construction programmes from drawings and specs.
• Present and communicate programme logic, sequencing and critical path to project teams.
• Experience planning major civil engineering projects.
• Strong Primavera P6, MS Project or ASTA planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project programmes for major civil engineering, enabling and earthworks activities.
• Collaborate with engineers, delivery teams and supply chain to optimise construction sequence, methodology, resources and production rates.
• Interpret drawings, specifications and scope documents to create delivery programmes.
• Identify critical path activities, programme risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor progress against plan, analyse performance and recommend recovery strategies.
• Produce clear reports, dashboards and programme updates for project teams and stakeholders.
• Communicate complex programme information to enable informed decision-making and drive delivery.
