Job summary

EDF Energy Sizewell C is seeking a Senior Planner to develop and maintain detailed construction programmes for major civil engineering and enabling works. You will work closely with engineers, delivery teams and the supply chain to optimise sequencing, resources and production rates, ensuring realistic delivery plans.

Qualifications

• Build construction programmes from drawings, specs, and technical info.
• Present and communicate programme logic and critical path to teams and stakeholders.
• Plan major construction/infrastructure projects with sound methodologies.
• Understand labour, plant and resource requirements for delivery.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining detailed project programmes for major civil engineering, enabling and earthworks activities.
• Collaborating with engineers, delivery teams and supply chain to optimise construction sequence, resources and rates.
• Interpreting drawings and scope documents to create achievable delivery programmes.
• Identifying critical path activities, programme risks and improvement opportunities.
• Monitoring progress, analysing performance and proposing recovery strategies as needed.
• Producing clear reports, dashboards and programme updates for project teams and stakeholders.
• Communicating complex programme information to enable informed decision-making and drive delivery.
