Job summary

EDF Energy Limited is seeking a Planning Manager to lead planning and programme management across major infrastructure works in the UK nuclear sector. You will develop integrated programmes, monitor progress, manage risks, and support commercial and operational teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Significant planning experience in large infrastructure projects, preferably with NEC contracts.
• Ability to develop integrated programmes and manage baselines, look-ahead schedules, and KPIs.
• Proven track record in risk, change, and commercial support across complex delivery.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement with client-facing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage fully integrated project programmes using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Lead progress reporting, risk assessment, and analysis to inform senior leadership.
• Coordinate interfaces across disciplines, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Support bid/tender submissions and commercial decision-making throughout the lifecycle.
