Job summary

John Sisk & Son is seeking a Senior Planner to join its UK Infrastructure unit in the West Midlands. You will lead the planning management function, set standards for planning and project controls, and regularly report progress to the group board.

Develop a consistent approach and ensure full integration across preconstruction and construction phases. The role requires advanced experience with Primavera P6, a relevant degree, and professional body membership.

Qualifications

• Advanced Primavera P6 training and experience.
• Experience in managing costs and resources on large projects.
• Membership of a relevant professional body where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of the baseline programme across design, procurement, construction and handover.
• Prepare target programmes and tender event programmes for subcontractors.
• Maintain planning documents and use CDE for retrieval.
• Provide programme information to the management team.
• Develop 4D modelling or 2D phasing plans where required.
• Assist in producing project prelim books with resources and logistics.
• Engage supply chain to develop the programme with lead-ins and periods.
• Review risks and opportunities and suggest mitigations in the programme.
