Job summary

Avove is seeking a Senior Planner to support major water and wastewater project delivery under the Severn Trent Water framework. The role will mix office, site attendance and remote work, with Derby or Birmingham as a base.

You will drive project programmes, mentor junior planners, and interact with multidisciplinary teams to ensure milestones are met. Key requirements include extensive planning experience in infrastructure, NEC familiarity, strong P6 capabilities, and proficient use of

Qualifications

• Strong planning experience in infrastructure, utilities or civil engineering.
• NEC experience would be advantageous.
• Proficient in using Microsoft packages.
• Excellent P6 skills and solid understanding of project controls.
• Experience working within construction.
• Ability to support and influence multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project programmes using Primavera P6
• Work closely with project teams to ensure robust planning across all stages
• Provide guidance, challenge and insight to support successful project delivery
• Track progress, identify risks and support mitigation planning
• Support and mentor junior members of the planning team.
