Job summary

Scantec is seeking a Senior Planner to join a Midlands-based project controls and planning consultancy in Nottingham. You will own and manage major programmes, work directly with clients, and support performance analysis across infrastructure projects.

The role focuses on planning, controls, and claims support within NEC environments, offering hybrid working and opportunities to grow alongside industry experts.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Planner / Senior Planner.
• Experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering or utilities.
• Strong P6 / Primavera experience.
• Experience managing complex programmes.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills.
• Good understanding of NEC contracts.
• Experience around change, delay or claims.

Responsibilities

• Developing and managing complex project programmes.
• Programme analysis and reporting.
• Identifying risks, delays and opportunities.
• Working closely with project teams and stakeholders.
• Change management across projects.
• Schedule analysis to support delay/claims analysis.
• Working within NEC contract environments.
• Providing planning and project controls support.
• Communicating programme issues and recommendations to clients.
