Job summary

The Planner Jobs Redactive Publishing Limited is seeking a Planner / Senior Planner in Manchester to join a multidisciplinary consultancy. You will work across a diverse portfolio, delivering planning strategies from initial appraisals through to planning consent, with opportunities to lead projects and build client relationships.

You will contribute to Local Plan representations, planning appeals, and the discharge of planning conditions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
• RTPI membership or working towards Chartered status.
• Strong report-writing and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on development potential and planning strategy.
• Prepare, submit and manage planning applications and appeals.
• Undertake planning policy research and provide technical advice.
• Prepare representations to Local Plan consultations and planning policy examinations.
• Support strategic land promotion and identify development opportunities.
• Coordinate with clients, authorities and consultants.
• Monitor policy changes and implications for projects.
• Manage project programmes and meet deadlines.
