Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear in Glasgow is seeking a Senior Planner to deliver defence and nuclear infrastructure projects. The role offers hybrid working, 37 hours a week, and a clear path to contribute to UK national security.

You will develop and maintain schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project, align cost and resource data, and report progress to leadership. A bachelor’s degree is required and SC clearance is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in project planning within an engineering, nuclear, defence, construction or major infrastructure environment.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project to develop and maintain integrated schedules.
• Experience managing project schedules through the full lifecycle from bid to close-out.
• Ability to apply quantitative risk analysis and schedule performance assessment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, basel ine and maintain integrated project schedules across multiple levels.
• Create and maintain Work Breakdown Structures, Resource Breakdown Structures and Cost Breakdown Structures.
• Align scheduling with project financial and material demand toolsets.
• Provide schedule analysis, status updates and critical path reporting for decision-making.
• Produce resource- and cost-loaded schedules for integrated business planning.
