Job Opportunity: Construction Planning Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Construction Planning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

1. Helping to develop cost- and resource-loaded construction programmes.
2. Ensuring the construction programme meets all required access dates, milestones, and key dates in compliance with the employer’s planning requirements, contract data, and work information.
3. Contributing to the assessment of programme risks and risk analysis, including developing and implementing mitigation measures.
4. Interfacing with other functional teams such as BIM, design, estimation, and construction execution.
5. Monitoring progress and updating the construction programme regularly, forecasting potential problems, and proposing mitigation measures to the Project Manager.
6. Collaborating with the Project Controls Manager, Reporting Manager, and Change Management on all related construction programme matters.
7. Reviewing estimated design costs, including equipment, installation, labour, materials, and other related costs.

Qualifications:

1. Degree in civil engineering or an appropriate professional qualification.
2. Experience in planning within civil engineering projects.
3. Knowledge of Asset structures, Planning Standards, WBS, and Planning processes in a BIM environment.
4. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Tilos.
5. Knowledge of Safety, Environment, and Risk Management.
6. Strong communication skills.
7. Understanding of commercial and contractual interfaces in planning.
8. Experience with various planning techniques for tendering and contract delivery.
