Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick is seeking a Senior Planner to join the Stansted Airport project, bringing expertise in civil works planning and schedule management. You will support the Project Lead and multi-discipline teams to ensure plans reflect scope, manage risks, and drive on-time delivery.

The role requires NEC/JCT contract experience and a UK driving licence. You'll work within VolkerWessels UK, contributing to a broad range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects and enjoying a

Job description

We are looking for a talented Senior Planner experienced in planning for civil works, to join our project at Stansted Airport.

You will be responsible for:

• Providing project planning support to the Project Lead and their teams.
• Ensuring that all clients tender and contractual requirements are understood and complied with in relation to project planning, resource planning and progress planning.
• Ensuring that the project plans for assigned contracts accurately reflect the technical scope of works
• Monitoring progress and identifying risks early, ensuring proactive solutions are in place.
• Providing expert planning advice across multiple projects, influencing outcomes and driving excellence.

About you

• Proven project planning experience
• Detailed knowledge of using planning software, Primavera P6 / Asta Powerproject
• Experience with working on NEC/JCT contract types
• Experience of working on Civils, Aviation or highways projects
• Degree qualified (or holds an equivalent qualification)
• Hold a valid UK driving licence
