Job summary

Franco Manca is looking for a Senior Pizza Chef to lead in the kitchen, craft our renowned sourdough pizzas, and support the Head Chef in maintaining quality and hygiene. You will mentor junior staff, handle dough prep, and ensure fast, efficient service during peak hours.

The role emphasizes leadership, expertise with wood-fired ovens, and a passion for high-quality ingredients in a busy pizza environment. Franco Manca offers strong growth and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pizza chef or in a professional kitchen.
• Experience with dough handling and wood-fired ovens.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen operations and craft each pizza with care to ensure top service.
• Prepare and cook sourdough pizzas to perfection.
• Support Head Chef in maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene.
• Mentor and train junior team members on techniques and workflow.
• Hands-on dough preparation, topping pizzas with fresh ingredients, and firing in wood ovens.
• Maintain composure during busy shifts to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Manage stock and food prep to ensure readiness for service.

• £13.26 – 16.26 per hour OTE (including service charge - our data says you can earn between £1.5 to £3 per hour on top of your pay)
