Franco Manca is seeking a Senior Pizza Chef in Greater London to lead our kitchen and inspire the team to deliver exceptional sourdough pizza. You will craft every pizza with care, mentor junior staff, and support the Head Chef to maintain top hygiene and food quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pizza chef or in a professional kitchen.
• Ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team.
• Passion for high-quality sourdough and traditional Italian pizza-making.

Responsabilités

• Lead the kitchen as Senior Pizza Chef, guiding the team to deliver the best service.
• Prepare and cook sourdough pizzas to perfection in a wood-fired oven.
• Support Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, hygiene, and food quality.
• Mentor and train junior staff, sharing knowledge and expertise.
• Manage dough preparation, toppings, and stock to ensure readiness for service.
• Stay calm and efficient during busy shifts to keep service smooth.

What Youll Do:

• As a Senior Pizza Chef, youll be a leader in the kitchen, helping to craft every pizza with care while supporting your team to deliver the best service possible.
• Youll lead by example, preparing and cooking our famous sourdough pizzas to perfection.
• Support the Head Chef in managing the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality, consistency, and hygiene.
• Mentor and train junior members of the team, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
• Be hands-on with dough preparation, topping pizzas with the freshest ingredients, and firing them in our wood ovens.
• Keep a cool head during busy shifts, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Take responsibility for stock management and food prep, ensuring everything is ready for service.
