Job summary

Franco Manca is seeking a Senior Head Chef to lead the kitchen, ensuring every pizza is cooked to perfection and every dish meets high standards. You will inspire and develop your team, manage food prep, stock and hygiene, and work closely with the Restaurant Manager to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You’ll bring genuine love for Italian cooking, a proven track record of kitchen leadership in a busy restaurant, and organize flow even during the busiest shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen team to create high-quality pizzas and dishes.
• Ensure consistent cooking and plating to our standards.
• Inspire and develop your team’s skills and passion for food.
• Manage food prep, stock control, hygiene and health & safety.
• Be hands-on in crafting pizzas, training, and improving kitchen operations.
• Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager for great guest experiences.

• £15.40 – 20.40 per hour OTE (including service charge and delivery bonus - our data says you can earn between £1 to £4 per hour on top of your pay)

• Inspire and develop your team, helping them grow their skills and passion for food.
• Manage kitchen operations, from food prep and stock control to hygiene and health & safety.
• Be hands‑on – whether you’re crafting pizzas, training your team, or finding ways to make the kitchen even better.
• Work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure smooth service and an exceptional experience for every guest.
