Franco Manca in Edinburgh is seeking a Senior Pizza Chef to lead the kitchen, craft our famed sourdough pizzas, and mentor the team to deliver outstanding service. You’ll manage dough prep, toppings, and wood-fired cooking, uphold high standards of quality and hygiene, and inspire colleagues to perform at their best in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen as Senior Pizza Chef, crafting pizzas with care and supporting your team.
• Lead by example, preparing and cooking sourdough pizzas to perfection.
• Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen, upholding high standards of quality and hygiene.
• Mentor and train junior team members, sharing knowledge and expertise.
• Hands-on with dough preparation, topping pizzas with fresh ingredients, and firing them in wood ovens.
• Maintain composure during busy shifts, ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
• Take responsibility for stock management and food prep for service readiness.

• £13.26 – 16.26 per hour OTE (including service charge - our data says you can earn between £1.5 to £3 per hour on top of your pay)
