Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Technical Support Senior Engineer for Pipeline Simulation to provide regional technical support, troubleshoot complex software issues, document findings, and ensure rapid responses to customers. The role involves knowledge transfer, training junior engineers, and collaboration with Development to obtain fixes.

The position requires a BS in engineering and 5-10 years of pipeline experience, strong thermodynamics knowledge, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or Petroleum Engineering or higher.
• 5-10 years of experience in pipeline simulation.
• Experience with software application support or deployment in Oil & Gas / Pipeline industry.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and hydraulic behavior.
• Proficiency in documenting issues and communicating with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide live inbound technical support for Pipeline Simulation products.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and diagnose complex issues and reproduce problems.
• Research workarounds and solutions and document activities in tracking tools.
• Train junior engineers and deliver intermediate and advanced courses.
• Travel 5%-15% to support training or customer visits.
