Job summary

Glacier Energy is recruiting a Senior Pipeline Inspector for a gas pipeline and installation inspection framework, covering multiple sites. The role is site-based with a January/February 2027 start and a 5-year framework with extensions.

The position requires senior-level inspection of construction activities, adherence to project specifications and quality standards, and clear reporting of findings. Local candidates preferred; accommodation may be available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant pipeline inspection experience.
• Ability to check work against project specs and quality standards.
• Experience recording findings and managing non-conformances.
• Willing to contract through a Ltd company and undergo testing.
• On-site role with 10-hour days and possible shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level inspection of pipeline construction and installation activities.
• Check work against project specifications, procedures and quality standards.
• Record and report inspection findings, and raise and close out non-conformances.
• Liaise with site teams and the client, and support less experienced inspectors where needed.
• Support SHEA Gas and SHEA Cross-Country Pipelines.
