Glacier Energy is recruiting a Senior Pipeline Inspector for a gas pipeline and installation inspection framework, covering multiple sites in Scotland. The role starts January/February 2027 with site-based, 10-hour days and a contract through your Ltd company.

Provide senior-level inspection, ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards, and liaise with clients and site teams. Experience of SHEA Gas/Cross-Country Pipelines is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in pipeline inspection and related construction activities.
• Able to contract through your own Ltd company (limited company).
• Willing to undergo drug and alcohol testing as part of site compliance.
• On-site roles with 10-hour days and site-based work patterns.

Responsabilités

• Provide senior-level inspection of pipeline construction and installation activities.
• Check work against project specifications, procedures and quality standards.
• Record and report inspection findings, and raise and close out non-conformances.
• Liaise with site teams and the client, supporting less experienced inspectors.
• SHEA Gas and SHEA Cross-Country Pipelines inspections.
