Job summary

Glacier Energy in Scotland seeks an Agricultural / Environmental Inspector for a gas pipeline and installation inspection framework, covering multiple sites with a January/February 2027 start.

You will monitor compliance with agricultural, land and environmental requirements, verify reinstatement and environmental controls, and report findings to site teams and the client. The position is site-based, 10-hour days, with potential shift patterns and accommodation may be available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience, unless working under close supervision of a suitably experienced inspector.
• Willing to undergo drug and alcohol testing.
• Able to contract through your own Ltd company.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pipeline works for compliance with agricultural, land and environmental requirements.
• Check reinstatement and environmental controls are carried out to specification.
• Record and report findings, and raise issues with site teams and the client.
• SHEA Gas and SHEA Cross-Country Pipelines.
