Job summary

Glacier Energy is recruiting a Welding Engineer for a gas pipeline and installation inspection framework, covering multiple sites. The project starts January/February 2027, with a contract role for Ltd company contractors.

You will provide welding engineering support, advise on welding and inspection requirements, and work with the inspection team and client to resolve technical queries. The role requires EWE or IWE qualification and relevant pipeline welding experience, and is site-based with

Qualifications

• European Welding Engineer (EWE) or International Welding Engineer (IWE) qualification is required.
• Relevant pipeline welding engineering experience.
• Willing to undergo drug and alcohol testing.
• Able to contract through your own Ltd company.

Responsibilities

• Provide welding engineering support to the project, including welding procedures and welder qualification.
• Advise on welding and inspection requirements, and review welding-related documentation.
• Work alongside the inspection team and the client to resolve technical queries.
