Job summary

Circle Health Group is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist for MSK Outpatients based at The Chiltern Hospital in Great Missenden and The Shelburne Hospital in High Wycombe. The role is full‑time (37.5 hours) with a flexible shift pattern and travel between sites.

Ideally you are HCPC registered with at least 4 years MSK outpatient experience, able to lead, mentor and develop pathways while maintaining service quality and safety.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
• Extensive post-registration experience including complex caseload management and a defined clinical specialty.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and organisational skills.
• Evidence of audit, service development, or quality improvement contributions.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary team working ability.
• Minimum 4 years of post qualification MSK outpatient experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the assessment, treatment, and management of patients with complex conditions within MSK (e.g. MSK, neuro, orthopaedics, respiratory).
• Use advanced clinical reasoning to develop and adjust treatment plans aligned with patient goals and evidence-based practice.
• Provide formal supervision, mentoring, and training to Band 5/Level 1 physiotherapists, assistants, and students.
• Contribute to development and implementation of clinical pathways, protocols, and outcome measures.
• Ensure all care aligns with HCPC, CSP, and CQC standards.
• Build strong therapeutic relationships to promote engagement and self-management.

Salary: Up to £43,500.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for an Senior Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in thePhysiotherapy department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern. Candidates must be able to travel between The Chiltern Hospital and The Shelburne Hospital.

Please note that we are desired to find candidates who are available to work evening and weekend shifts.

Duties of this role include:
