Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist with a specialist interest in supporting older adults recovering from acute illness. The role involves independent caseload management, contributing to early mobility and function, and leading educational opportunities within a team of physiotherapists and assistants.

You will provide clinical leadership, support junior staff, and participate in in-service training while embracing our PRIDE

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of frailty and the aging adult.
• Experience of managing complex manual handling needs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and MDT colleagues.
• Drive to provide high-quality care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Senior Physiotherapist responsible for the physiotherapy management of a defined caseload.
• Assess, prioritise and manage own caseload and determine treatment with records kept as autonomous practitioner.
• Provide clinical leadership within the specialty including educational, professional and managerial guidance.
• Support delivery of a high-quality, safe and compassionate service and act as a role model to others.
