Job Description

Senior Physiotherapist at Rowley Hall Hospital - Stafford

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week

Shifts: Variable, including evenings and weekends

We are seeking an experienced Senior Physiotherapist passionate about delivering excellent care to join our Physiotherapy Team at Rowley Hall Hospital. You will provide exceptional clinical care to in-patients and out-patients.

You will have the opportunity to manage a diverse case mix, including:

  • Orthopaedic, spinal, podiatric, and surgical in-patients
  • MSK, women's health, and post-operative out-patients
  • Pre- and post-op joint education
  • Gym rehabilitation

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality, evidence-based, safe, effective, caring, and responsive clinical care
  • Writing and reviewing treatment plans for complex MSK conditions to maximize recovery
  • Managing own caseload, time, and diary
  • Respecting patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
  • Leading individual and group rehabilitation programs
  • Contributing to Physiotherapy Service Development
  • Ensuring compliance with governance standards and participating in audits and quality assurance
  • Engaging in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Evidence-Based Practice (EBP)

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Current HCPC registration
  • Understanding of CSP standards
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong customer care skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Flexibility in working hours to meet business needs
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends on a rota
  • Clinical supervisory experience
  • Willingness to work off-site at satellite clinics, gyms, and Day Surgery Units

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Training in SWT and acupuncture
  • Clinical Educator experience
