Senior Physiotherapist - Outpatient Musculoskeletal
Ashtead Hospital | Salary depending on experience
Part-time or Full-time hours considered to cover one evening

The role

We seek a highly motivated physiotherapist with proven skills in managing complex musculoskeletal disorders, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements include at least 3 years of qualified physiotherapy practice, experience in outpatient and orthopaedic settings. The caseload primarily involves private outpatients, with occasional ward patient treatments, including weekends.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on physiotherapists passionate about patient care and goal achievement.

Responsibilities include working within the Physiotherapy Team to deliver high-standard, personalized patient care, adhering to Ramsay policies, and promoting positive clinical outcomes and the Ramsay Way ethos.

1. Deliver high-quality physiotherapy in a hospital setting, including assessment, treatment planning, and program development, adjusting treatments based on clinical judgment.
2. Provide patient education and advice throughout the patient journey, face-to-face and via telephone.
3. Manage your outpatient caseload efficiently, including session billing, appointment booking, and diary management.
4. Follow health and safety and infection control procedures diligently.
5. Engage in CPD, mandatory training, evidence-based practice, and personal development.
6. Maintain good IT literacy and willingness to learn new technologies.
7. Contribute to department operations and service development.
8. Work effectively both independently and as part of the multidisciplinary team.

What you will bring

• BSc Honours degree in Physiotherapy
• HCPC and CSP registration
• Experience in physiotherapy practice and/or team leadership
• Evidence of CPD activities
• Strong organization skills and confidence in working independently and within a team
• Understanding of CSP and HCPC standards and their application to practice
