Are you a physiotherapist looking to further develop your skills and knowledge in an intermediate care setting? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic, friendly, and successful rehab team on Foxbury ward for a 12-month period to cover maternity leave.
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual for a senior physiotherapist role within a well-established and well-led multidisciplinary team. The post holder will support band 5 therapists, rehab assistants, apprentices, AHP students, and nursing colleagues to deliver high-quality rehabilitation and discharge planning for patients transitioning from acute hospital to home.
Foxbury ward is renowned for providing excellent clinical care that is evidence-based, safe, effective, caring, well-led, and responsive to patient needs. We offer a supportive environment that ensures patients receive the appropriate discharge support to regain independence and confidence at home. Senior staff will provide regular supervision and in-service training.

Foxbury ward is a 30-bed intermediate care rehabilitation unit. The post holder will promote patient independence through rehabilitation and enablement interventions, working collaboratively with primary, community, secondary care, voluntary, and public sector teams to ensure successful delivery of intermediate care pathways in Bromley.
The role involves completing complex assessments and treatment plans, leading group education and therapy sessions, and developing physiotherapy services. The primary focus is on elderly patients, with an emphasis on goal-oriented discharge planning.
Bromley Healthcare, as a community interest company, provides a wide range of services including community nursing, district nursing, health visiting, specialized nursing care, and therapy services across various age groups.
Compensation depends on NHS experience and current banding/pay point.
