Job summary

High Speed Two Ltd is seeking a Senior Security Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership for physical and electronic security across the HS2 programme. This project delivery role focuses on design, integration and assurance rather than installation.

You will review contractor designs, manage interfaces, and lead technical risk management across multiple packages, collaborating with project teams and stakeholders to ensure security capability is delivered.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering physical and electronic security systems on major projects.
• Strong understanding of access control, CCTV, intruder detection and security infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assurance and engineering support for physical and electronic security systems.
• Review contractor designs, technical submissions and delivery proposals.
• Manage security system interfaces with buildings, networks and railway infrastructure.
• Identify and manage project risks and mitigation strategies.
• Maintain Interface Control Documents and coordinate information between systems.
